Life Fitness Brings New Strength to Home Gym Market |
Updated Designs Deliver Style and Comfort to Strength-Training Equipment
SCHILLER PARK, Ill. (July 17, 2008) – Life Fitness is building on its popular line of home gyms to deliver a series of upgraded strength-training machines for the home. The G2, G3 and G4 home gyms all offer updated features for greater comfort, with a more finished look to accommodate design-conscious homeowners.
Design improvements take on form and function with the G Series including a shapely back pad for added user comfort and softer lines, while standard weight stack shrouds protect users from pinch points and create a more finished look. A sleek silver and gray color scheme provides the perfect backdrop for eye-popping orange accents that highlight the machine’s adjustment points.
Each of the machines in the G Series also is outfitted with a magnetic instructional card system that demonstrates various exercises and explains equipment setup. The cards magnetically adhere to the weight stack shrouds and can be rearranged to customize a strength-training workout.
As the world’s leading commercial fitness equipment manufacturer, Life Fitness leveraged its experience and knowledge in the industry to improve upon its home gym designs. “We take the lessons learned from our health club equipment to bring new product enhancements to the home gym user,” said John Stransky, president of Life Fitness. “It enables us to deliver professional-grade equipment to exercisers at home.”
G2 Home Gym – A space-efficient machine for the home, the G2 Home Gym makes a great introduction to strength training. Included handle and leg attachments provide exercisers with all the tools to complete more than 25 different exercises, including traditional pressing, converging pressing, and pec fly exercises.
G3 Home Gym – The G3 is the perfect introduction to cable motion strength training. It provides user-defined, upper body exercises in combination with traditional, machine-defined leg exercises for a total body workout. Several handle attachments and leg attachments are included to vary a workout and accomplish over 40 exercises.
G4 Home Gym – A powerhouse, the G4 provides a fundamental strength-training experience with superior adjustability and ergonomics, so exercisers can fine tune their positions to create more effective and comfortable workouts. The G4 targets chest and back muscles with a self-adjusting extended arm pec fly and rear deltoid exercise. And, the machine’s mid-pulley creates exercises that isolate the abdominal, triceps and shoulder muscles. Included handle and leg attachments combine to help exercisers accomplish more than 30 exercises.
