SCHILLER PARK, Ill, October 11, 2007 – Today Life Fitness introduces its new Signature Series smith machine at Club Industry 2007, extending its existing line of 20 benches and racks that provide facility owners with the tools to create a strength-training space with a cohesive look and feel.

This new machine offers superior industrial design and joins the existing line of Signature Series single station, benches and racks, and Cable Motion™ products. Now owners and facility staff are able to choose from a total of 56 different strength-training pieces all with the same standards of performance, function and aesthetics.

The machine’s 7-degree angle follows the natural path of motion of free weight Olympic lifting, and a unique walk-through design makes it easier to use. Large guide rods and linear bearings ensure a smooth and stable feel for every repetition, and the counter-balanced Olympic bar has a 20-pound starting resistance. Additionally, eight weight horns and an integrated labeling system help facilities keep plates organized.
